In 2025, on October 18, Academician Ә. Қуатбеков Peoples’ Friendship University held an open Russian language lesson on “Dialogue and Monologue” for group 144 (25/5).
The lesson made extensive use of oral communication and practical tasks to develop students’ speaking skills.
The aim was to introduce students to literature and develop their ability to speak Russian correctly, clearly and expressively.
The link between language and literature was demonstrated by showing an extract from the king’s monologue in Cinderella on an LED screen.
Students were highly engaged, composing their own sentences and texts and taking part in discussions.
Active learning methods based on students’ reflective thinking were used to develop their reasoning and increase their interest.
Those attending included:
Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education A. K. Kupeshova,
the Head of the Academic Office and lecturers from the department.
The lesson was taught by Аблаева Ұлжан Керімовна.
