The Peoples’ Friendship University Named after Academician Ә.Қуатбеков Celebrated 25 October — Republic Day

Today, the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician Ә.Қуатбеков celebrated the national holiday «25 October — Republic Day». Leaders and students from the university’s history, law and educational affairs departments helped organise a successful occasion. It was formally opened by President of the university named after Academician Ә.Қуатбеков, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor Қуатбеков Нұрлан Әбдімұсаұлы. Нұрлан Қуатбеков said: »Because Kazakhstan joined the ranks of independent states, we now live peacefully under one roof. We firmly believe that the spirit of our ancestors protects our country from bloody upheavals and disasters such as those in neighbouring states. May our skies always be peaceful, and may there be ever more educated and talented young people leading Kazakhstan to new heights!» He congratulated the guests, faculty and students on Republic Day, 25 October. Chief Specialist of the Shymkent Department of Kazakhstan’s Agency for Civil Service Affairs Ж.Әлжанова informed students about new developments in the civil service and invited them to join. Several staff members received letters of appreciation from the Rector, and the event concluded with a concert.
