— The Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan issued a series of instructions on developing the civil service.

— To implement these instructions and promote civil service careers, the Employment and Internship Department of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician А. Куатбекова organised a meeting between students in Jurisprudence and State and Local Government and representatives of Kazakhstan’s Agency for Civil Service Affairs. The topic was “Methodological Recommendations for Identifying and Forming a Pool of Requirements for the Public Sector”.

The purpose of the talent pool — to attract talented and active young people to work in the civil service.

In her address, Kanseit Ardak Кенесалиевна, a division head at the Shymkent Department of Kazakhstan’s Agency for Civil Service Affairs, noted that under the methodology, the talent pool guarantees employment for candidates who successfully complete the School for Young Civil Servants established under the territorial office of the authorised body.

— During the event, the Head of our university’s «Employment and Internship» Department, Шалкеева Айсулу Анваровна, said that an education system geared towards the labour market should train in-demand, competitive specialists, particularly in teaching and technical fields. Close cooperation with employers is necessary to achieve this.
