Today, the Department of Philology held an important seminar bringing together current priorities in education and research.
Today, the Department of Philology held an important seminar bringing together current priorities in education and research. Participants discussed digitalisation in modern education, connections between theory and practice, and improvements to degree programmes.
The Department of Philology and employers held a seminar entitled “Digital Transformation: New Momentum for Education and Research”, focusing on improving programmes and strengthening students’ work during placements.
Participants sharing their experience included Mamyt Amangeldi Алтыбайұлы, Head of Kazakh Language and Literature at Ж.Тәшенов University and Candidate of Philological Sciences; Мусабаев Руслан Сапаралиевич, English teacher at Lermontov General Secondary School No. 17; Мыңбаева Үрзия Ізбасарқызы, Deputy Head for Academic Affairs at Lermontov General Secondary School No. 17; Аширов Мухан Зулпидинович, Head of Educational Activities at Otyrar College; Мирзахмедов Аскар Алибекович, Director of Abylaikhan Innovative School; and Myrzadaulet Gulnur Хабибуллақызы, Deputy Head for Academic and Methodological Affairs at Shymkent Higher Pedagogical College.
The seminar addressed the role of digital transformation in education and research, new opportunities for training future professionals and the importance of engagement and knowledge sharing with employers.
