City Police Officers Met Students

City police officers held an awareness and prevention meeting for students of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician Ә.Қуатбеков about the harms of gambling addiction, online fraud and domestic violence. The aim was to help young students prevent these problems and obtain advice from specialists.
Cyberpolice specialists said extensive work is under way to improve financial literacy among Kazakhstan’s citizens. According to them, this problem, which has become a social ill, reveals the public’s limited knowledge of finance.
At the end, students asked officers questions about online fraud and cryptocurrency and received timely answers.
