“THE INDEPENDENCE OUR ANCESTORS DREAMED OF” WAS HELD FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY ON 16 DECEMBER

On 11 December, the History and Law Department and the Educational and Social Affairs departments organised a university-wide celebration for Independence Day.

Students, faculty and members of the Zheltoksan Akikaty national public association attended.

The event aimed to foster patriotism, civic duty, responsibility to the future and a sense of personal responsibility before history.

Young people staged a performance about the December events, portraying that difficult period. It honoured those who died in the struggle for independence and conveyed the value of civic commitment. Many people sacrificed their lives for the country’s future.

The university’s Scientific Library provided substantial support by preparing a book exhibition for Kazakhstan’s Independence Day.

After the event, guests were hosted at a meal in the university dining hall. The audience praised the students’ creativity and skill.
