Police Held a Preventive Discussion with Peoples’ Friendship University Students

Drug use among adolescents is a particularly pressing issue today and requires active measures by society and the state to address and prevent it. Officers from the Drug Crime Prevention Division of Shymkent’s Police Department held a preventive discussion with students of the Peoples’ Friendship University named after Academician А.Куатбекова. Students heard excerpts from the President’s Address to the People of Kazakhstan concerning the prevention of synthetic drug use and illegal sales, the consequences of use, and legal liability for trafficking. Informational and educational materials were distributed. The main objective was to develop students’ rejection of drug use and distribution. At the end, students asked relevant questions and received timely answers.
